My voucher was refused today at Chatime Doncaster. There was a handwritten sign next to the register saying they do not accept Entertainment Book vouchers. Can they do that? The back of the voucher says 'Valid for all Australian locations'. Grrrrr….I will never buy my drinks from them again.

Or entertainment book… Heard they investigate and offer some sort of resolution for situations like this.

Ok, will do that too. Over the years I've encoutered a fair few of these merchants (Sushi Sushi at Doncaster, Alice's Cake World in Box Hill, Nando's Box Hill etc) I've just not gone back to them since.
Received communication from Chatime saying they'll ask Chatime Doncaster to remove the signage.
Could be the franchisee being difficult even though it's not a great cost to them.
