Heard this on the Radio and grabbed some more info online about it.

Retro Video Gaming Championship to take place this weekend in Geelong

Those of you keen on retro gaming and in the Geelong, VIC area this weekend will be pleased to hear of a Retro Video Game Championship tournament that will be taking place.

The tournament will be held at The Mill Markets in Geelong on Sunday, 1 June.

With free entry, the winner will walk away with $500 AUD of gaming consoles, retro games and accessories, courtesy Mill Market's Stall 250.

Those who wish to take part can register on the day or by calling Adrian on 0422 001 566.

Stall 250 will also be offering customers a 10% discount on retro gaming items on the day.

Good luck if you plan on heading over.

Might be good idea to dust off your (SNES/NES/Atari/Commodore 64/Sega Master System/Sega Master System II/Sega Mega Drive/Dream Cast/N64/Lynx)

    wow. geelong. out of topic but are you local resident of geelong?
    what do you think of people there regarding closures of many factories in the next 3-5 years?
    are people afraid, or the area will be just fine?

    not a local resident of geelong, but i am seriously considering going there for the retro games comp. so quite the drive from melbourne to geelong… just to smash some oldies at mario kart :)
