  I don't think it is, actually. I think it's 6 cell. Both options are available from manufacturer, and onlinecomputer.com.au have the 6-cell version for example.
  
  But my local is out of stock, so I can't be sure.

Giving it a +1 because I've heard good things about these BenQ U101's. I myself will wait for the Lenovo S12 but its all personal taste isn't it. A strong selling point of the U101 is modifying the storage (SSD + HDD)
