Just saw this on Lenovo Australia's website — ThinkVision Pro2840m 28" 4k Monitor for $799, delivered and includes GST. It is actually cheaper than the Lenovo US website (USD$799.99).
Here is the full specification (PDF file):
- 28" widescreen 3840x2160
- WLED TN panel
- 3x USB3 + 2x USB2 hub
- 2x 3w speaker
- HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2, Mini-DP & MHL
So it's still the first generation 28" 4k monitor — probably uses the same panel as other 28" 4k.
I wonder how would it compare with Samsung U28D590D that's around $720-$730. Lenovo one certainly has more "feature" (adjustable stand, tilt, USB hub, built-in speakers, VESA mount-cabale, etc) but not sure whether the features justify the extra cost.
The samsung has 1ms vs this ones 5ms response.
Thats the only real difference i can see.
