How to force my phone (Android) to compile MMS instead of SMS

Hey guys,

I'm on a plan that includes International MMS but somehow excludes SMS. I'd like to figure out a way to send normal text messages as MMS to my mates oversea.

Ideally I would prefer not to insert any random pic/voice attachement.

Any ideas?

    Why would you turn down any opportunity to send people a nice accompanying photo of a puppy/kitten/bunny?

    messages beyond 300 (for my phone, not sure about your one) characters are mms. Just have a template ready with 300 fullstops

    Just press the menu button and press add subject and it becomes a mms with no attachments
