Yep, stinkingly good :)
Wish they have it in Sydney. And bring on Musang King :P
Apparently bad enough that they had to organise an evacuation because people thought the smell resembled flammable gas.

Makan!
Would be great if in Perth. Bring on some durian
Please come to Sydney oh great Durian king of the fruits.
Oh yeah, if they do that I'm taking the day off & heading down for umm, professional development! :)
Tastes ok smells like shit.
Taste like crab, talk like people.
I LOVE durian, but those in the markets are usually frozen in transport. They taste really nasty(after defrosting) in comparison to real durian, where you can find in SEA countries.
BTW, anyone joining this should know that durian meat is very rich(ie filling), so you'll get full fat. It's full of nutrients.
I'm so hungry right now, I wish I can eat real durian :(
I wonder where they source the durian from?
they source the durian from the durian tree.
which country smartass.
If they source the durian from the durian tree, chances are it's from Thailand. The Thais cut the fruit from the tree.
If they source the durian from the ground (or nets) under the durian tree, they are from Malaysia and other parts of SEA. They will wait for the durian to drop as part of the harvesting process.
There's fruit farms in northern NSW that I've been to that grow it commercially and sell it for relatively cheap from the shop.
Got one at the beginning of the year, a crunchy variety, it was gooooood :-)
Durian's taste like strawberries and cream,…that you're eating in the lavatory.
wtf are u on about?
did u eat shrooms instead of durians?
sounds like when Asian try to eat vegemite at first time
Challange? Asians be lining up to pig out on free Durian!
Apparently last year's was partially frozen. No one really likes that.
Yuck!
Is this another training exercise to test the response of the Emergancy services; the simulation of a biological/chemical attack on a populous area.
I see what you did there, Challange accepted.
I can't get past the smell of durian, but I'd love to see that in the middle of Sydney, just to shake the place up a bit
Jom Makan :)
Durian has to be eaten with rice so are they going to provide free rice as well?
iuhh
Better be sticky rice too…
imo should be frozen again, otherwise medics will have a tough time!
Please don't drink alcohol and eat durian, you'll die! Not kidding!

Curious … especially test 2 and the conclusions
I grew up with that constant warning from my parents and people around me..but one time I went to singapore and had durian with tiger beers…that gave me pretty bad diarrhoea…
Not sure what durians they use for this deal. If it's Thai durians, not worth the queue.
Bagus sekali!
Hazmat crew on standby. City of Melbourne will undergo massive evacuation exercise. Please follow instructions from police.
Those that rush towards the smell must be mad. :)
Durians are spikey for a reason…..man was never meant to open them up!
OK. Can someone please clarify something for me.

Am I correct to assume the two signs in this picture say "3 for $20" and "1 for $5"? If so, would you not rather buy in singles than in 3s?
This deal STINKS !
