Woolworths matching Coles' offer: Save up to 40c per litre on fuel

"Coles was the first to advertise that customers who spent more than $300 between today and Wednesday would receive 40 cents off every litre of petrol.

Woolworths quickly hit back this morning when a spokesman confirmed that as of midday, the chain's supermarkets, including Safeway, would match the offer."

    Don't think so. It's too easy to spend over $300 in these stores, BigW should match price to Kmart.

  I am not sure if its in VIC only, because i was shopping in Woolworths Rouse Hill in NSW today, and they also made an annoucement in the store about this offer.. so it might be worth it to ask about the woolworths you normally shop in about whether if they are offering it.

  Evil or not, when you're filling a 150 litre tank, 40 cents litre off is nice. Just make sure that you're using the $300 on things that will go a long way too!.
