Wall Street Journal - now what?

Apparently it has been 6 months since this deal was posted and I'm now seeing padlocks everywhere.

Complementary 6mth Digital Subscription to Wall Street Journal & Barron's

I was enjoying flicking to it every couple of days, but don't feel it's worth the ~US$5/week price tag since I already subscribe to the AFR, it was just a nice addition to my reading and was certainly a great deal when priced at free

Any suggestions?

    2. Wait until the next bargain.

    I was hoping for alternatives to the obvious, such as finding out the deal still exists on a new link, a new code or another means to access.

    Who pays for this stuff anymore? If you're really that tech stupid go to your local library, sign up, and no doubt part of their online content which can be enjoyed at home are the two 20th c relics you described
