Cheap way to get to Malta?

Hi everyone. I am looking to go to Malta in November, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap ways to get there (eg flying into somewhere else first, or multi-airline journeys etc). I don't want to return from Malta but travel around Europe.

    then ryan air from stockholm to malta for $94.

    Cheers, I saw that but I have to come from Qld.
    Do you think it's best to book early (ie now) or wait until later?

      you can score a cheapo deal through virgin/tiger/scoot/airasia Melb to the SEA city. which can then provide a cheap flight from KL or BK or SNG to the Europe return.

      Melb—>SEA—->europe—>SEA—>melb
