Dinner cut short - NaruOne

Hi All

Had a poor dining experience at Naruone Korean restaurant on Pitt St Sydney the other week. In a nutshell, went in with some friends, ordered some food, wanted to order more food but waitress refused to let us order and said we need to leave because there were people lining up and there's a table time limit.

We were not informed of this table time limit when we arrived. Been to this place multiple times before and never have I encountered this. No sign anywhere in the restaurant saying this either. Also, I understand if we were sitting there and taking up table space while people were in line waiting, but we were refused service when wanting to order more food for the table.

Anyone experienced something similar at other places?
What did you do? (or what CAN you do?)

  • Ask to see manager at the time. Write a letter to management with details of your experience and why you considered it inappropriate.

I don't see what else you can do.

I encountered this, the other night, but when I booked I was told there are two sittings 6.00pm and 8.30pm

So I knew I had to finish by 8.30pm.

If your table was booked by a later party, I can see why they wanted you to move, but obviously their communication skills are in need of a service.
