that's the spirit!
Your frame needs to be compatible for electronic gearing though
Nah. Just zip-tie the wires to your downtube and chain stay. Looks super classy if you colour-match the zip-ties to your frame colour!
Wow that better be car transmission at that price…naa just kidding.. i guess for bike enthusiasts it may make some sense
Wow wish I was still racing then I could justify it and retire my 15 year old duraace group set.
Go Michael Matthews in the Giro, hopefully he stays ahead of of Cadel, but dont like his chances
They've got the external wiring for $1518.99 http://www.probikekit.com.au/cycling-groupsets/shimano-ulteg…
Also 14% off so same price
my PBK orders have shipped from US or UK in the past i think so you'll get slammed with GST + customs fees (which are a lot, like 400 odd)
Good point. Wouldn't be 400. I usually factor about 15% so $200.
Still the best price available I'd hazard but I did overlook this :(
In the past I've requested orders be split..did they fulfil that request?
Wonder if you could order the Brake lever/shifters in 1 order and the rest in another order. Even if it was a little more it would be 2 packages under the GST threshold.
Actually I think you can possibly get it cheaper or piece together 2 orders to get under GST threshold with the Ribble sale at the moment (or just buy the bits you need for an upgrade if you already have the regular Ultegra 6800 on your bike http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/product/t/di2 On ribble make sure you change the little union jack at the top to an Australian flag. This will remove the UK VAT in the pricing, then click on the pound symbol and change it to AUD.
just what I needed as one of my brake pads wore out.
