Please recommend a good blender

So my kenwood blender start smoking cus obviously it couldn't handle my man smoothies.
My budget is tight, as usual.
Vitamix, blendtech or omniblend are out of my price range.
What's the best sub $100 blender
All I need is for the blender to be able to make sold milkshakes or smoothies (not literally solid)

I looked at few please advice:

  • All I can say is do not get the Ronson blender sold at Target usually less than $40. It works the first few times, then the little plastic rotor starts to chip away and smoke and the blades refuse to spin. Now I need to find a new one.

  • magic bullet (deluxe with extras) best and easy to use whip cream in 3 seconds great for smoothies 10 seconds

  • For watery (or milky) fruit smoothies without lots of frozen fruit any of your own cheaper suggestions above should suffice.

But for green smoothies or fruit smoothies with lots of frozen fruit they will clap out in no time. This is where the vitamix / blendtec start becoming necessary unless you want to buy a new blender every month.

    • The kogan one has option if 5 years warranty for just $17!
      Isn't that a great option ?

      • that drops to about $13 if you wait until after making the purchase! They email you with the offer!

  • We got the nutribullet at home, and it kicks our magic bullet. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, it's really changed the way we do our 5 veg 2 fruit- just in a cup.

    • Where did you buy your nutribullet? How much?

      • Got few on stock.
I sell it for $159.95 free shipping
Haven't got time listing it on the ebay.
Let me know if you want one, I could list them for you.

        Cheers
