Tomtom via280 GPS unit

looking for a GPS Unit for the wife.. did some research and thought the Tomtom via280 would be a good choice unless you guys can suggest something better ..

    I am also now in the market as my trusty old go 730 screen calibration screwed up and is now unusable :(

    I personally would go for the New Go 500 as it is not a superseded model.

    Also has Pinch and zoom like a smartphone which I am looking forward to.

    JB has them at 20% off this weekend at $194.

      thanks for that..

      got mine at the TGG with a price guarantee refund of 120% of the difference…

      bought at the TGG for $159 JB had it for $131.2 and got refunded $33.36.

      so at the end I only paid $125.65

    Had this happen to me too. (Screen calibration went)
    I wont use TomTom again.

    I got a Garmin Nuvi 3490 based on a Whirlpool recommendation.
    Best GPS I've had.
