Can anyone please recommend me a 60-65” LED TV. Looking to spend around 2-2.5k and if possible less. Not sure if I need the SMART or 3D options. Would like to get my fellow OZB's opinion on this..

I think you mean LED or Plasma.
Get plasma if the tv is being put into a dark room.
Get LED if the tv is being put into a relatively bright room.yeah led or plasma :)
I got a 65 inch Panasonic plasma th-p65st60a that I bought at Christmas time on sale at powered by dick smith's david jones store on sale for $1950
awesome TV cant fault it..i'd go plasma…
thanks for the recommendations guys.. will go LG or Samsung.. probably Samsung since we are a Samsung family with tabs and mobiles. It would be easy to integrate I guess. Now I just have to look out for some good deals. Maybe EOFY sale is coming soon..
get LG or samsung. LG has plex built in, sooo good!
3d is not necessary i think this feature only good for few weeks/months after that you wont use it so often. (so yeah, just something to show off when people visiting your house :)
some people get sick with 3d too.
but if you want 3d, get tv with passive because this will save you some $ on the glasses.
(LG has passive 3D, sony active i think)
smart is must - most new tv will be smart anyway.
wireless not necessary you better off with cable (smart tv will have network cable port) because you want stable connections.
lcd or led, doesnt really matter unless you are very picky on screen/colors.
ignore people talking about cost, they are minor unless you turn on your tv 24/7/365days
i have LG 3d smart but im happy to trade the 3d feature with 5" bigger screen.
if you still have budget get 70" :)
