This is a tricky one, and wasn't sure whether to post or not. I've had it confirmed that the voucher can be successfully obtained, but you need to change your geographical restrictions for the App Store. I hope some can make use of it. Good luck.

I've been told you can change the geographical restrictions. I have no idea how. Hopefully someone can tell us.

To change geograpical location, go to > manage your kindle > click Country Setting from left side > Change Country to UK by adding the address of your favorite London Hotel

what is the point of this?
If we buy from uk app store then we need to log out of amazon USA account in android app to use Uk apps on our phones
Which means any USA bought apps won't function on our phones etc..

Anyone got this to work, i changed my Kindle Geographic region to UK, but still get this error "We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions."

Go to Amazon website and search for paid apps, you should see something like "Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance" link. you should see your voucher amount, and you can select this when you purchase an app.
You dont see anything using the amazon app.
Worked on my account, my account has US, UK and Aus addresses attached.
It worked on my Aus account (thanks JV). From the fine print (after I activated the voucher):
"You must use your voucher towards the purchase of eligible apps by 11.59pm on 18th June 2014"Still have the uncharged equivalent 8.36 British Pound Sterling from myTelstra 'AU$15' pack (s). However an astute find, ta, author.
