Yeah, I agree with ps90. Why not just get regular ones which are much cheaper and more versatile?
'regular ones which are much cheaper'- space is an issue and i thought weights were pricey to buy separately, as in buy each increment.
where are they cheap?
If you got a Rebel Sport voucher in the Herald Sun deal they have a 50kg set on sale for the next week for $150. Includes a barbell too. http://www.rebelsport.com.au/Product/Celsius-50kg-Weight-Set…
But a word of advice… If you want to get serious and actually put on muscle/weight though you'll need more equipment or a gym membership (bench, squat rack etc). If you just want to tone up a tiny bit dumbbells are fine (tiny being the operative word).
yeah i have a gym membership, just want to be active at home on the days I'm not at the gym
Since you have a gym membership, save up that extra money for some good protein powder. If you want to "be active" on your off days, do equipment-less exercise (sit ups, crunches, planks, push ups, squats).
good idea, might do that then
+1 for equipment-less exercise, plus these things are exceptionally pricey for what they are, I can understand why you want them for the compactness though
These look excellent just the price is hurtful
These look good although I'm not sure about the quality.
I've already got a power rack at home and I'm considering getting dumbbells to the collection but it doesn't make sense to buy individual weights. I may consider these.
Oh and yes I do have a gym membership which I use regularly as well.
I suppose you'll be using this at home.
But really.. 24 Kg is nothing..
You'll surpass that weight easily with just few months of working out.
