How did you find out about Japanese nappies and what makes you favour them?
How does the affordability compare to say Huggies?
Thanks!
You can order a sample from the website. Something like $2 or $3 I think. Hope this helps.
The GOO.N nappies here are $0.33 each which is about the same as huggies when on special.
I found out by someone else asking me to try them. They gave me a sample and yeah we're making the switch. It may cost a bit more but then again it will be more comfortable for bub.
The Japanese nappies are softer, more absorbent and cause less iritation to bub's skins. Before trying them, I thought huggies were the best nappies.
Downside is that they are very expensive. I still got a few boxes to use up of huggies and then my bub will go onto these Japanese nappies full time.
Hope this helps. If you are in Melbourne, there is a shop in Box Hill on the same level as Coles that sells Japanese nappies. They don't keep much in stock but their prices are quite good for a bricks and mortar store. I think the store is called Honey Baby.
These were popular in Sydney…. Asian ladies buying them in bulk UNTIL the Fukushima accident…….then nobody wanted them. Just a bit of trivia for you
They still buy them, just the Taiwanese made version instead.
How do these fare compared to Mamy Poko? That's my baseline.
I prefer Genki nappies personally but they don't seem to sell them. GOO.N are also pretty good but overall the bestnappies.com.au range seems a little limited compared to other sites.
