AU$31.41 in blister pack, or AU$35.91 if you want the case. Im fairly sure thats the only difference. Normally these are a tad over $50 a pair.

H1 AU$31.41 or $35.91 in case.

H7 also appear to be cheap at AU$35.91 in case.

A search suggests theyve been cheaper, but this is still cheap. Cheapest I can find them (I dont consider dirt cheap on ebay reliable but you might, so look there if you like).

A lot cheaper than the Narva/Hella brighter globes generally available in auto shops, and as good if not better.

  • What about HB4s?

    • I only noticed what I listed.

  • can I use those phillips HID bulbs on after market HID kit?

    • If its one of the ebay type after market sets designed to fit into old headlight bodies which have different bases, then no.

Unless they are factory upgrade kits which likely use D1, D2 etc.

      • hmm no wonder I couldn't see my bulb types…thanks Tuba!

    • Aftermarket HID kits are illegal and dangerous but you already know that.

      • Not anymore dangerous than the cut springs and POS worn tyres that also feature on ricer cars(can't afford new tyres, spent too much on HID kit, 5" canon exhaust and pod filter). Not to mention the hero behind the wheel.

        • or…two pints too much from your favourite pub but you already know that

      • They are only illegal if installed incorrectly, you need to have the leveling sensors so you don't blind oncoming drivers when you into one of this countries countless potholes.

I'll say it again, aftermarket HID kits are ILLEGAL - PERIOD. There are no buts or anything else they are ILLEGAL.

The only way to LEGALLY add HID lights to your car is to fit new genuine factory headlights, the levelling sensors, controllers and washers.

        • I've been wrong before (don't tell my wife) but if I understand correctly aftermarket HIDs that are self leveling in the proper reflectors with washers meet ADR and aren't illegal.

Anyone who just swaps out their halogens with HIDs should be beaten and forced to stare into their idiotic setup for 36 hours straight Clockwork Orange style.

        • This is correct. It must the properly designed for HID headlight set up, ie: HID projector, and self leveling. You cant just buy a set of aftermarket projectors and fit HID to them legally.

        • Aftermarket HIDS that are self levelling in reflectors do not meet ADRs. HIDS require projectors not reflectors.

          Thanks for correcting my terminology.

Your previous statement is still incorrect. While most aftermarket HID headlights are illegal, it's still possible to meet ADRs with an aftermarket HID headlight kit.

not really that cheap, powerbulbs usually have 20% off on top of those prices quite often

  • These are the best bulbs in my opinion. Ive tried the top philips and narva, and these in my pajero and magna and these were the best with the philips a close second and narva absolute rubbish, especially for the price.

good price too, and the only difference between the blister pack and case is the packaging. so if your putting them straight on the car, get the blister pack, but if you keep them in the car as spares get the case.

They are legal and much brighter and whiter then standard.

    • Thanks, for not posting this yesterday when I bought mine. :P
Updated the OP with the code, seriously thanks for the code.

  • I've used/tried heaps of different +brighter bulbs over the years (Hella, Narva, Phillips) and these are the brightest and longest lasting so far. IMHO. I got mine off eBay from some place in Poland or something several years ago now, still going.

Use the code VXR15 for 15% off instead of the current discount code. This one I've used every time I've ordered something off there.

wai…wha… damn it, where were you the day before the day before today?

Added code to OP. Thanks, but too late for me. :P

      • Haha sorry mate. It was given to a VRX forum in the UK a few years ago and has been valid since then, it's always a good one to keep in mind whenever using them, makes their already cheap prices just that little more sweet!

  • If anyone ordered something from them lately, what's the turnaround time?

Just put my order through and would be lovely if the bulbs turn up by Friday.

    • 9 days so far… and I didnt even get to use a coupon.

    • I ordered mine on the 12th, it was dispatched a few hours later (9PM Perth time) and it arrived today. So just under a week, very good turn around from them as usual.

      • Same for me, I ordered mine on the 12th and received it on the 19th. Happy with the delivery time.

        • Mine still arent here. And I started the thread…
