I believe they did that on purpose to drive demand for OR/AS/Z
Or because there is DLC coming for the game which was hinted at?
I don't get everyones beef with the post champion content, I beat the champ 170+ hours ago…..
I beat the champ three months ago and then traded it.
talking physical time? I did it just after release (so what, about 6 months ago ish?). I just found stuff to keep doing after the champ which has taken up over 170 hours of game time.

I dont think any DLC is coming, it'll just be events as per normal.

The only sites I see talking about DLC are talking about the legendaries and just rumours, but its far more likely they will just be events.
One can be hopeful. Would love to see a DLC of a new small island or something which had a mini sub story. One can dream…
Ruby and Sapphire is my favourite Pokemon Generation. Is there something wrong with me?
Most notably because: It was the last generation where I didn't just catch as many old generations as I could find and use them instead (White and Black excluded of course where you were locked to the new ones until endgame)

Also note that the PlayAsia copy is unplayable on an Australian 3DS as its NTSC, so cheapest is actually $53
I have a lot of expectations for it…I especially want it to make up in areas which X/Y didn't adequately fulfill (post-Champion content).
