Is it just me, or are there hardly any t.v or vacuum cleaner deals showing up on ozbargain these days?
Am I noticing it more because I'm in the market for a good deal on a medium tv and a vacuum? Or is something more sinister at play here? Has Harvey been targeting and eliminating serial tv and vacuum posters? Or are there really no good deals on these products out there?
What are your thoughts people? Notice any posters go missing recently?
There were some decent TV deals a month or so ago - when last year's models hit EoL.
However, you need to bear in mind that the australian exchange rate is righting itself somewhat - pushing up the import cost of the electronics units - so it's harder to find wiggle room today.
And if Hockey screws up the budget next week (as he shows all signs of doing) and the markets' view as australia being all downside, those exchange rates could right themselves even more.
