Kogan shipping rip off!

I don't honestly know how Kogan can think it's ok to charge people those ridiculously high prices for shipping! Bloody $35 to ship a Samsung phone! It's 145g! Anyone would think I was shipping a shipping container from Kogan.

Easy, Dont buy from them. Or buy 4 more items to qualify for free shipping.

Yeah I had a look at that but cheapest item store wide is $5 so I would have to spend $20 to get free shipping, even that is way too high

        Better than spending $35 though

True but if I'm spending over $700 on a product I expect free shipping like 98% of all sites do.

        • Contact support and they may offer you discounted or free shipping.

        • That might work

How much money are you saving buying from Kogan as opposed to Australian brick and mortar retailers?

Exactly. Who cares what the breakdown is, the TOTAL PRICE is all that matters.

  • Consider that you are paying for express shipping from Hong Kong, and this would include some kind of insurance.

Doesn't seem unreasonable, do you know of another shop that does the same thing for less?

A 450g phone (should be similar to yours when you include your box + acc) without insurance costs me just under $25 to deliver within a similar timeframe to Kogan from Hong Kong, so if you add $10 for insurance that seems reasonable.

    • Noworries.com.au only charges $16 for postage with TNT Express.

      • does Kogan use TNT express?

  • Price sounds about right for express international shipping, OP maybe look at Ausposts prices if you are a bit confused.

    • Yeah most other sites off free shipping if you spend $50, $100. But I have to say didn't know it was international shipping which now makes the phone suss to me

      • yea will be invoiced by Kogan H.K (bought a Note2 4G off them last year when our dollar was strong, and there was a huge diff in price between Kogan and the aussie B+M stores- now not really sure of any real bargain due to the warranty differences)(mine turned out to be a french issued phone but just changed it to english language and away i went)
