It's a Pink Floyd biography. Not much more to say?
It's not going to appeal to most, but this is a great read for anyone into Pink Floyd. I already have the hardcover edition but for <$2 it's worth getting as an eBook as well.

Also, search for BBC doco What the Future Sounded Like if you want to see the sorts of early synthesisers they used…true music pioneers who gave us far more than Kylie or One Direction ever could. Heck, I had the misfortune of hearing some One Direction last night and the shameful ripping of Brian Adams rifs was appalling, but young people wouldn't realise the riff has already made millions for someone far more talented.
