what is the cheapest and easiest way to apply for australia national police certificate.

    Not correct, you can go through the police website, and the cost varies from state to state. WA was the only state I found that is more expensive than Aust Post. The rest are cheaper.

Cheapest way would be to get your employer to pay for it…

If it's employment related (and you can't get an employer to cough up for it) I guess you could claim it on your tax.

Another option, if you're a job seeker, and require it for the type of work you're seeking, your job agency might pay it for you.
