Getting frustrated with my Xperia Z as the battery won't even last a full day. I already have it in stamina mode by the way and all I do is mostly Web browsing. No gaming.
My almost 4 year old iPhone 4 battery lasts longer.
Is there something in the settings I need to tweak? I know androids are terrible for battery hunger but this is too much. Cheers

You can tell what system/app is using the most out of the battery from settings->battery. I have the xperia Z as my third phone and it stands by for days (I really mean days, at least 4 or 5 days and could be more).
May be you have something running in the background which drain the battery.
Cheers,
update the OS. lots of battery and peforamnce upgrades with OS update
Factory reset your phone. And don't run apps that prevent your phone from sleeping. The biggest culprits are usually instant messaging apps like Blackberry's BBM app, apparently that's a big battery drainer, and apps that frequently ping or retrieve information from the net.
May also wish to disable Google Now, if you're not using it.
I also suggest using BetterBatteryStats (XDA) this can help you analyze what apps are causing wakelocks.
