Pretty regular offer from them, but better then the ugg boot offer they had recently, IMO

hmmm, $430 for a pair of boots is pretty steep. Especially when they show you riding a horse in them. Not sure mine would see a lot of horse riding, I have boots that I don't mind being covered in mud and poop for that.
Well its about the image, brand creation. Now days the average consumer of R.M. Williams would probably be a pudgy, middle-aged guy - Alexander Downer springs to mind, and give them their hardest workout crossing Lygon st for lunch.
Have to say though, these are the real deal in terms of quality and they have a heritage right back into the dusty past. My Mum sent off the outline of her foot (that's how they did it then) from her farm when she was a girl and they would custom make the boots from the drawing and send them out.Hey, I am a pudgy middle aged guy, with a horse, and I still wouldn't pay $430. I have some good riding boots and if you know your foot size, buy quality boots from the US for half that price.
Remember: once you know your exact RM Williams size, ring the RM Williams Outlet Store in your state to see if they have any in stock. Usually they sell them for $250 instead of $430 for only a tiny mark or two. That once call saved me a lot of money…it could save you a lot too.
Unfortunately offer not valid if you don't pay full RRP
Just to advise you should of [sic] wrote [sic] "than" where you put "then", as in "better than". Bring on the negs and the "it's not an English class" comments.
Just an observation. I have two pairs of RMWilliams boots and imo the quality to price ratio isn't what it's cracked up to be. Then again, I'm a city slicker so maybe you should take my last comment with a grain of salt.

Should have?
That's right Tycn, hence the [sic]. Only a few of these give me the tommies and those two grate the most, probably because their [sic] the most common.
$430???!!!!! WTF seriously?? Still expensive but these guys are $100 cheaper http://www.nungar.com.au/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/48_4…
A quick look on the website puts the jacket at $330, so yes, a lot better than the ugg boot deal.
You can find them cheaper. As for the quality. My father has a pair he wears regularly that he got in 1976 and I have 2 pairs both over 12 years old. Good quality, comfortable boots. But never pay RRP.
I wish they'd do an offer with the Rigger boots.
