  • Looks like Amex direct issued cards only. Nothing on www.amexconnect.com.au

  • I hope Amex won't stop making these deals once they reach a certain amount of the market share…

  • …where do you register for these offers? Link is just to the amex website and I don't see anything. is it just me?

Log into your Amex account it will be under the current offer tab

The wording of these bargains are terrible. "@ ROXY, Other offer PORTMANS and EVENT Cinema"

    Jesus…

    • I don't think Jesus pays to see movies. It's part of the whole 'omnipotent' deal.

      • Jesus doesn't bother watching movies as he knows in advance how they all finish. Really limits his entertainment options when you think about it.

True in all cases except "The Sixth Sense". Nobody saw that coming.

there is word limitations on the title, so was not able to fit everything in detail.

      Sorry if this upsets you.

  • I cant find it under offers tab :(

    • Me too, i've yet to receive any offers in my offers tab for either of my cards.

Been holding them over a month now. Wondering if i need to opt in or something?

      • what's your percentage of purchases at places like woolies/petrol stations compared to general retail?

i have received every single offer on ozbargain but my ratio is something like $100/$1 ($200 of groceries/fuel to purchases)

    • Be a bad boy and Don't spend with Amex - you will get the offers :)

Similar to "Direct Action" - Pollute and we will pay you!

  • Same here… none of these offers are showing in my offers tab

    Nice!

You could buy 2 'Mothers Day' $60 cards for $50 each, using the deal currently on at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/142106

Effectively getting $120 worth of Event Cinemas credit for $70!

    Thanks OP!

    • Event is Spend $15 or more, get $5 credit

    • ?? $120 worth for $70? How? Have to use multiple Amex cards?

      • Damn! My bad, I misread the discount. I'll edit - thanks for the heads-up!!

EDIT - well it turns out I can't edit my post - So, it's really only an additional $5 off the $100 -

So it would be $120 worth of credit for $95. Still, not bad if you're keen for vouchers!

  • Has anyone successfully combined the "$60 cards for $50" and the AMEX "Spend $15 or more, get $5 credit" offer?

    • I did it for last year offer, they do stack up.

    • I bought the $60 for $50 and got an email from Amex saying I confirmed for a statement credit.
