Coles Express Freshly Ground Coffee, Cappuccino, Latte, 80 Cents Each

80

Coles Express Freshly Ground Coffee, 0.80 cents each.

Small Size - 200ml $0.80 (works out cheaper by the ml and you get more stamps)

Regular Size - 350ml $1.50

Many styles to choose from including the ever popular Cappuccino and Latte.

The DIY Machine Grinds the beans on the spot and draws the milk directly from refrigerated 2 litre bottles so ingredients are always fresh.

They also Have a VIP card that entitles you to your 6th coffee free, essentially bringing the total cost down to 0.67 cents per cup, putting it on par with capsules plus you get free milk, sugar, electricity and cup.

I'll admit I'm no coffee aficionado however I think its fairly good coffee for the money, and 10x ahead of its class when compared to Hungry Jacks.

I'm not sure if available in all stores so use the store locator with coffee filter checked.

Price is accurate for Brisbane, not sure if national.

7-E coffee is not bad for a $1.00…

    • My mate gets one everyday from 7-11. Says it is really good. I must try it.

    • Next time you go to 7 eleven, check the milk cabinet… You may be unpleasantly surprised.

Why do you say this Mousie? I guess all 7 Elevens are different, but my local clean and change theirs regularly. Coffee not bad for $1.

    Arent these the normal prices?

    • yep… been getting them at this price from numerous Shell service stations for well over 12 months now.

    • The attendant said it used to cost $3.50 ?

  • I havent had the Coffee at Coles Express in years but it all depended on the machine they used. Some used powdered milk and supermarket bought beans. The ones with fresh milk were not too bad.Cant remember if they used fresh beans in those.

  • Been having both after nights out. So far coles one tasted better. Not sure if its to do with the cleaning schedule. Milk tasted better at coles.

7/11 is acceptable for the price…. Not amazing but two bucks for a large cappuccino is pretty decent.

  • Both of these (coles and 711) are ok for the price, not fantastic but , hey, great price. And I think better then HJ and Maccas coffee.

  • Been 80 cents for ages now

  • Useful on long road trips, e.g. Gundagai (but go and eat by the dog on the tuckerbox) and other stops SYD-MEL.

It takes a while, but you can put about ten shots into the small cup. :)

This is the standard price for the coffee at Coles Express servos these days. The small is 80c and the large (regular) cup is $1.50. All sites now use a machine made by Tiger Coffee, use high quality locally roasted arabica beans from Cantarella Bros. (who own the Vittoria Coffee brand) and fresh Coles brand full cream milk (not powdered milk). They're instructed by their head office to only use the freshest milk in the machine. If you have a look in the little fridge they've even put a sticker in there reminding staff of that when they go to change over the milk.

  • Within the NT (Possibly also Northern WA) last time I was there, they also offer these coffees free to the person driving the car. Great deal to be combined with new speed limits on the roads there.

  • I just noticed Coles Express had their coffee on "special" when I drove to Melbourne from Sydney in Jan because I normally go to Woolworths for fuel refilling.
Bought 2 at that time and it tasted better than 7-11 ones. I won't buy from 7-11 anymore although I just bought once.

Unfortunately there are no Coles Express(fuel stations) close to my place.
And the sixth one for free is very good.

  • Ikea gives me free coffee, cappucino, latte, flat white, short or long black & hot chocolate for buying nothing! Sorry comparison. I keep going back for my weekday free brew! No competition.
