A week later no code.
Emailled them and got this response.

Sounds to me more like they think you want to sign up to XBOXLive through them..
Given the terminology used in your complaint above "xbox live token", it doesn't surprise me that they misunderstood.
If English isn't your first language, maybe ask someone to prepare you a query email for you.

Try giving them a call or contacting them via social media, don't waste your time with consumer affairs, it is probably just a case of an employee having limited knowledge of the promotion.
