Crumpler Considerable Embarrassment 15" Laptop Bag $130.17 (Usually $185.95) Delivered @ Frontier

30

I was looking for a decent laptop bag for my Macbook Pro 15" . I read a few reviews about this bag and it seems all are very positive in terms of the style as well as the durability.

This is definitely a bargain, the cheapest that I could found, it saved me around $55.

I'd be Considerably Embarrassed to pay that much for a laptop bag…

    • You get what you paid for :)
The quality, durability, brand and Guaranteed For Life :))

I don't think laptops will even be around in 10 years..

    • For $2000+ MacBook it's fine. However at $130 it's almosrt half the price of last laptop I bought.

      • Not even for my nearly 3 grand Latitude lmao

what sort of name is that for bag lmao!

Definitely style > substance. A slip cover and a laptop bag will still be cheaper

  • It's a good brand and they last a long time. I got given a Thule 12L bag which is absolutely awesome (fits 15" MBP easily). Great sectioned areas and pockets http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/THULE-TCMB-115-12-LITRE-MESSENGER…

  • I'm in the market for a new messenger bag for work, as I've recently switched from motorbiking to the train, and my backpack is too bulky. I liked the look of "the bag of holding", but postage from US was a killer. Now I can't decide between the considerable embarrassment, and the Thule bag listed by Robbie613.

  • All, I own one of these bags and before you rush out and get one bear in mind the size - it is a big bulky bag.

It is 1.1kg - empty and almost half a metre wide.

    Size

    Width: 48 cm / 18.9 in
    Height: 31.5 cm / 12.4 in
    Depth: 15 cm / 5.91 in
    Volume: 15 L / 915.36 cu in
    Weight: 1.1 kg / 2.43 lb

If you carry bag + notebook (1kg) + power supply + notebook + back up hard disk + bits and pieces = approx 4kg. Given this is a courier bag and not a backpack, it gets a bit heavy on one shoulder.

  • Overpriced by about $80, if we are being (very) fair.

what laptop does it come with?

I paid less than that for my last laptop

  • If someone don't mind the Medium size, Myer always sell it for $135 with Free delivery (Free over $100). This would fit 13" laptop very easy.

Also if you pop into one of the Myer store and ask friendly, you may able to get a cheaper price.

Last time (about 4 months ago) I went to Myer Chadstone (VIC) and bought one for $110.
