is this actually realistic in terms of the steering and force feedback? Cos I have the old GT version (with the 900 degree turn thingy) and it feels quite hard to turn… (compare to real car)

It's pretty good. i used to on gt5 and gt6 the force feedback is amaze! turning or spinning out in your lambo you have to fight to keep control xD 10/10 steering wheel!

They may phase out racing peripherals alltogether.
Can't say I blame them, the simulator genre has been incredibly stagnant for the past few years (unless you count the idiotic Mundane Reality Simulators like Goat/Farming/Fork Lift Simulator).

Microsoft has a rule if u make it ps3 compatible they wont let u officially make it 360 compatible. This is why no official 3rd party 360 gear works on ps3 or vice versa.
I think they will keep making wheels. It's probably just stunt to clear old stock.
Hope they make a wheel that works on PC and Xbox 360 and One.
