$2155 on Qantas for MEL->NCL on those dates, which is no great deal sorry. Alternatively you could fly MEL->LGW for $1573 on Vietnam airlines and then train it up to NCL.
Pity it wasn't SYD to MAN
Morning Rep, just wondering what the price would be for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 3 and 4) for the above dates? Also, any options for Syd to Lon?
Hi k_leb - the fare seems to be only available for individual adult bookings. If I try a search of 2 or more adults the fare does not appear. Same with children. Sorry.
No specials from Sydney this morning, but I'll post more when/if they come up.
Combine with a Tiger cheapie SYD-PER-SYD for ~$230 extra or MEL-PER-MEL for ~$200 extra.
Can I suggest that if anyone considers doing this to either fly with Tiger a day before, or choose another local carrier… I'd hate for you to miss your O/S flight!!!
So I am moving to Dubai and I'm looking for average cost for flights to Dubai for my partner to visit me (coming from Sydney) and they are looking about $2K rtn.
If my partner spend a few hundred getting from Sydney to Perth and could take this flight and jump off at Dubai it would be sooooo much cheaper! Is this something that can be done or does it just not work that way?
Not if you want your luggage in Dubai it won't!!! ;)
Depends, if you can stop over on the way to London, problem you will have is how long. Also they would need to resume their flight to London so they can access the return leg. If you miss a segment of a flight the rest gets cancelled.
Hi Kate,
You don't have PMs on at the moment so I hope you'll see this here. If you need to get to Dubai on the cheap from Sydney I would recommend a combination of Scoot and Malaysia Airlines, you see MAS offers brilliant fares on legs from Singapore to Dubai, stopping over in Kuala Lumpur (only for an hour). These fares come at a cost of only $410 return, if you combine that with a scoot fare to Singapore for $378, you should get you to the middle east for just under $790, with only 2 stops in two very easy transfer airports.
If you have any questions or specific dates you want me to check for you feel free to send me a PM.
Hope you enjoy your trip.
Holy moly, that's cheap!
Woah! That's incredible. What's wrong with them?
EDIT - tried various dates and all show 2 tickets available, the when you put details in to pay they say ticket unavailable - card not charged.
any chance i could fly in late august??
I can see cheapoair cancelling the fares as it will be a mistake and asking for more money. If you go direct to cheapoair the fares are more than double as with the airlines direct. There seems to be a lot of bad reviews on trip advisor, and other google searches about Cheapoair.
OP, nice deal on the face of it.
But you should mention in the post that it is only available for tickets booked individually. Couldn’t get these with a manual search on their site for more than 1 person.
Quick check of the feedback for CheapOair is pretty dire. Appears to be a high likelihood of having your booking cancelled and a long wait for a refund. Can’t see anything like this directly from the airlines or from other providers.
So this would be buy at your own risk. I was ready to, but I wont now after some research.
Hi ChickenTalon,
I had actually emailed CheapOair about this deal, but had not gotten a reply. I have since called their Sydney office & they have confirmed that this deal is an error & not bookable. I have updated the deal & will be contacting mods to remove it.
Bit of a shame, I was really after something like this. Perfect timing for a trip to europe I'm planning but it just seemed too high risk for me to book with them.
Good on you for following up!
this deal is an error & not bookable
Well that kind of sucks… But thanks for posting anyway!
Sweet deal!
Pity, I was curious if a more reputable travel agency might have been able to price match it e.g. Flight Centre (not actually wanting to travel, just curious if it'd work).
Do you not read or watch the news? Flight Centre reputable???… Flight Centre has been fined $11 million for trying to illegally fix prices for international flights by attempting to collude with Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Emirates over a four-year period.
Having also dealt with them while working for an airline, I can say they are very dodgy.
Got to agree there!
Sorry everybody for getting your hopes up (and wasting your time). I will call first before posting deals that this good in future.
Hey Store Rep! How much can you get me to NCL from Melbourne 8th of August, returning on the 16th of August? Many thanks.
