So, let me explain my situation.
I joined LC with their rapid 29 plan and after a few short months i decided to upgrade to the rapid 60 as i require more mobile data. This is where everything went tits up!
Firstly, i had to transfer my number to another carrier and port the number back onto the plan i want because LC is a reseller and cannot make plan changes once an account is active, this process took over a month because apparently they didnt release my number until my 5th call to LC demanding it released for porting.
Secondly, once i ported my number out my original account on the rapid 29 was still left active! so i am now paying for 2 accounts although my number is now active on the new plan. it took over 7 calls and number web chats to get this sorted!
Thirdly, i noticed once the old account was deactivated my internet data stopped working! i then had to make more calls and more web chats to get data activated, this took another few days of me chasing them up and following up shit get done.
Lastly, once after data was restored i noticed i stopped receiving SMS ( although i could still send SMS) it took over a week of back and forth calls to LC and web chats to get SMS working.
this has got to be the worst customer experience i have ever encountered, no one made an effort to contact me throughout my month of hell! and frankly i would not wish this type of experience on my worst enemies!
When asked why was data and sms not working, they simply shrugged me off saying "we had network issues but we dont know who this affected so we can only act when you report it" i thought a simple email informing your customers would had eased alot of the pain!
if anyone is planning on joining LC i recommend steering clear from these guys unless you dont have nothing better to do than sit on the phone with LC.
yeah they are pretty miserable… took 7 calls to get 3g data enabled on new sim over 6 working days! Finally left to another pasture…
