Vodafone Pocket Wi-Fi 4G ($84) + 2.5GB/Month ($20/Month) - 25% (Signup Required)

So what's the deal?
Vodafone Pocket WiFi 4G ($84) + 2.5GB/month ($20/month) (StartHere will return 25%-37.5% of this)
If you are currently a Vodafone customer there is currently a deal where you get 15% discount off Mobile broadband signups: http://www.vodafone.com.au/personal/wireless-internet/mobileā€¦

Ok this is a little complicated so bear with me. I'm not in any way associated with StartHere or Vodafone. Except for being a customer.

Summary:
Vodafone Pocket WiFi 4G ($84 ("Normally" $168 but it's currently half price until 01/07/14))
2.5GB/month ($20/month)
StartHere returns 25%-37.5% of the above ($84+$20).
Existing Vodafone customers get 15% off the data per month fee (not the MBB device). Which means you get 2.5GB for $17 per month. While not as good as the $10 Telstra SIMs. I haven't seen those for $10 in a while.

To get this deal:
Sign up to http://www.StartHere.com.au (Or use my referral link to help me out: http://www.starthere.com.au/?refid=105694)
Go to the link in this deal.
Click on "SHOP HERE & GET CASHBACK".
New window will open up to the Vodafone web site to available plans.
The example above is for a particular device and MBB plan but you can choose any of those listed.

After signing up with Vodafone your transaction should pop up on your StartHere account after a couple of days. (It took 48 hours for my transaction to appear.) You will then need to wait until Vodafone pay StartHere before you can get your money back. StartHere suggest that I'll be able to get my money back in July 2014…

I was told the 15% is automatically applied if you already have an account. It seems like that's the case with my account (although my bill was a little messed up, typical telco BS) but best to double check your first bill.

Edit: I got confirmation from Vodafone that the device is unlocked.

Paltry sort of an allowance that's already likely built in to your phone plan.

    • Horses for courses. Personally this suits me because I'm on a plan which has no included data.
