Bargain flight from Sydney to San Francisco [Return]

Hey, are there any bargain flights from Sydney to San Francisco during December 2014?
Right now i found quite a few cheap ones ($1300+) but they are all indirect flights and require to change on 2 or more airlines.
Hopefully You Ozbargainers can find me a cheaper flight than that a direct flight and doesn't require me to change on different airlines.
