Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

All entries are via the website www.australiasnorthwest.com and Australia’s North West Tourism’s Facebook Fan Page http://www.facebook.com/northwestaustralia or affiliated sites with back link to www.australiasnorthwest.com.au

Participants enter the competition by entering their details on the Characters of the Kimberley competition entry page.

By entering this competition, participants authorise to be subscribed to the promoters and partners online and offline database.

Participants may enter as many times as they like. No scripting is allowed for on-line entries (which will be deemed invalid).

Entries will close at 11.59pm WST on Sunday 25th May 2014.

The competition will be promoted via online display unit advertising, Facebook and YouTube. There will also be some promotion on screens in coffee shops in the Perth CBD.

PROMOTION DATES

The promotion commences on Monday 14th April at 12.01am AEST and concludes on Sunday 25th May 2014 11.59pm AEST (The promotional period).

Entries received 14st April – 25th May 2014.

The winner will be drawn and announced on www.australiasnorthwest.com website and winner notified by phone and email with 48 hours of the prize being drawn.

By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being collected and used by the Promoter for any promotional activities, including the winners personal participation in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, and any future marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation.

The competition start time and finish time may fluctuate due to unforeseen web upload and download times. Although the ‘www.australiasnorthwest.com’ site may be visible earlier and later than the specified times, entries submitted only within the timeframes above will be honoured.

The winners name will be printed in the Australian newspaper on Wednesday 28th May.

Winner and companion must be prepared to travel on specific dates to be in the Kimberley from the 19th to the 28th of September.

The 1st valid entry drawn by the promoter will be deemed the prize winner and will win the following prize package for 2 people valued at $9,000:

Accommodation for 10 days

The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified in the itinerary), drinks, transfers (unless specified in the itinerary), laundry charges, activities (unless specified in the itinerary), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Transport to and from departure point including but not limited to additional domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. The prize package also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the promoter.
