Suggestion for the use of award points

Hi All,

It seems like every year the points will worth differently.

Therefore, just like to check if anyone have a bonus code or any other suggestion to get the most value of the award points.

Currently, the standard gift card for BP, Caltex, Coles and etc…
are worth $1 = 186 points
No matter you redeem $50 or $500, it's still $1/186p………..
(this sux coz they used to have promo and also higher redeem amount, lower points per dollar)

Also for my annual fee $59, it will cost me 11800p = $1/200p……..sux again

Really have no idea what to choose now…..

    get a rebate of your annual credit card fee.

    Yeah call up and ask if they can refund it, or remove it altogether, tell them that you are looking at moving both your credit and savings elsewhere

    I have tried couple time and they all said no……….Or2
    They told me it's a award card and I don't have insurance or mortgage with them so they can't refund the annual fee.

    I am seriously considering redeeming all points and cut the card!

    yeah terminate, I would never get a (pay for) rewards card unless I'm a really heavy user.
