Yes, I know it's another "mofo" but there's so many good ones today.

This one is looking like 2009 Sandalford Estate Reserve Shiraz https://www.crackawines.com.au/Sandalford/2009_Sandalford_Es… which, if it is, makes it a prettty good deal.

Margaret River has produced some very good Shiraz.
If it is the one I think, it has had good reviews. Fruity with a bit of spice.

        perhaps unreviewed by Vinomofo - if unreviewed by anyone then it can't be the Sandalford

          First of all, I did not say it WAS 2009 Sandalford Estate Reserve Shiraz.

          I said this after researching for some time.

          Rather than pick faults, why not research and come up with an alternative answer?

          I have seen Mofo posts not mention the exact information, yet ending up with what was "thought".

          Yes, it may be something else, so look around.

          fair enough, you didn't say it was the same but that it looks like - however someone could mistakenly take that as being the same :(

          my deductive research/analysis requires grape, vintage, location and ratings :)

          I have to agree with tonester on this one. He has highlighted an inconsistency between your guess and the vinomofo site. That makes it unlikely that it is the wine you think it might be.

          Another inconsistency is the difference in price, $36 ain’t $35 or $25. And that's what Sandelford shows as their 'regular' and 'discounted' price right here: http://www.sandalford.com/index.php?option=com_f2signupmjb&v…

          I don't see why tonester should have to offer an alternative. You stand to benefit most from referrals on this post, so it is in your best interest to pinpoint a wine, he's got nothing to gain.

    They have some fairly decent deals … the 2011 SCHILD was great. So I should give this a try … Need to resist. Should save for a new phone. Too much wine already.

          Haha … I bought 2 cases of the Schild. Tempted by this one.
          I usually have a 10$ limit per bottle (as you get good wines for that - just harder to find).

          Waiting for the black market 2011 barossa cab sav AKA "hairy legs" to return at $6 a bottle it was a real winner.

          Today I purchased a box of the black market rose and 3rd b'day box. hope they are good.
