1-Year PlayStation Plus Membership USA for $44USD (~AUD$46.76)

30

I have to redeem myself from an earlier post this morning so I think here it is.

This is the cheapest US 365 days PSN membership available currently.

I know this has been previously on special (from the same seller) but if someone needs this (those who may have recently purchased the Vitas) this could be a good deal.

  • Do you need to put in a fake American address to purchase it like you do for Amazon?
    Cheers

    • I haven't yet made a purchase from them but I don't think you need to declare any address details as this is delivered electronically.

  • How much is a US PS+ usually? (in US dollars)

    • $49.99 US normally.

So $6 off.. nothing great but better than nothing

  • Which one is better? Aus ps plus or us version?

    • That is for each person to decide on their own.

The general agreement seems to be that we (AU) get better games than the US does (I agree with this), but the US has bigger discounts with things being generally cheaper. Whilst there is overlap between the two regions, there is an easy to see benefit of simply having both subscriptions; $100-120$ per year nets you ~150 games for the 3 platforms (PS3, PS4 & PS Vita), access to more sale items and the best discounts from both regions etc

      • If I stop my aus ps plus subscription and start a new us account, can I still access the instant games and saves I have downloaded on my old aus account?

        • No. You can only access PS+ games that have been assigned to your account as long as your are still subscribing. Games that you purchased with the AU account will still be accessible, even if they were purchased with a PS+ discount.

        • You will be able to access the games for as long as you have a subscription.
So, if you stop your AU account but have 3 months left, you can have the user/account tied to your console and log into a user/US account and still use them. Obviously this excludes Vita because of the way it works, and I'm pretty sure it needs to be your primary console, but I digress. As Cyber points out, the PS+ content doesn't transfer as purchased status from an AU account/store to the US account/store.
