Is anybody offended by Living Social promoting lotteries as they are doing at the moment? I signed up for a group buying deal, to get entertainment, food and shopping items offered to me. But I don't expect them to promote gambling, at least unless I specifically request it.

Geez, some people are easily offended these days.
It's a lottery ad?
Actually, I got an email directly from Living Social about it. It is not an ad but a direct email to me. I'm not so easily offended actually.
Unsubscribed from LS. Too many crabs…Rather ozbargain.
By chance, any ozbargainers do buy lotteries online, check your credit card - now charges cash in advance fee for each lottery/gambling transaction. e.g. Woolies $2.50.
Yes, and watch out for the interest. You'll then you have to clear your credit card account fully (i.e., back to zero dollars) to avoid paying interest after you do this. And the interest is on the whole outstanding balance, not just the amount you put into your lottery/gambling account.
Are you talking about the $40 Million This Thursday Powerball banner on LivingSocial's website? It appears to be an ad from OzLotteries.com, served via Google's DoubleClick platform. Not really LivingSocial promoting gambling, although a gambling related banner ads on their site does make it like they are endorsing it.
