Says '$1.99 capped shipping Australia wide' on the front page.
that's "flat rate per item" - pretty misleading
I purchased 1 item, and selected regular shipping (1.99), applied the coupon and shipping charge was removed. Went back and changed to express shipping ($10), and the shipping charge was still $0. Not sure if that's a glitch or not - when I go through and try that method/coupon combo now it says it's not valid
Finalised my order, and it went through. Haven't heard anything from them, will see how it goes
hi fattyboombatty,
we offer free standard shipping australia wide with this coupon - for some reason your order did come through with free express shipping and we'll of course honour that :-) will check and send your item right away
just curious, why is 'flat rate per item' misleading?Your web page states "$1.99 Capped Shipping Australia Wide". When you get to check out is states "$1.99 flat rate per item"
Those two statements are not the same and misleading in my mind. The first statement would lead one to believe that no matter what I ordered, shipping would be capped at $1.99 - it's not like there are any caveats marked on that statement. It certainly created confusion as noted by wfdTamar.
Thank you for honouring the shipping - I expected to get a message stating that the shipping would be downgraded, I appreciate you following through with the order. I noted the exact steps of how I did it in my previous post so you may want to look at the site functionality if you want to avoid this issue in the future.
cheers for that - makes sense. I've already changed flat rate per item to flat rate per order. 1.99 capped shipping australia wide now means regardless of the order size shipping will be 1.99 for regular post.
thanks @drdolphin - that's exactly right. please enter the coupon code in our checkout system to receive free shipping
If your organisation is from Brisbane, can we just pop by and pick up our products/inspect them instead?
sorry we don't have a physical store yet, this is one reason why we can offer such competitive prices…we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee in place, if the item doesn't fit, just send it back for a full refund
What's the difference between
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Womens-Take-Five-Black-144-Skin-C…
And
http://www.smartsports.com.au/products/yoga-hot-pants.html
It looks like the same picture with a different logo, and a few more dollars.I suppose the difference is you can return it easily for a full refund. And it won't take two weeks to arrive.
There are no products appearing in the youth category.
I've got some of these. OK I suppose for the price. But they are not true compression gear, simply tights. They are also falling apart with relatively minimal gym wear. My underarmour gear may cost as much as 3 times the price, but it has lasted more than 3 times as long.
There is also no size chart that I can see on the website. This is really important when you are selling an Asian brand.
Site also contains broken links and does not actually stock all brands you have listed.
thanks for your feedback damnable,
would you mind letting me know what links are broken? we've sold hundreds of these with good customer feedback plus we've got a 100% satisfaction guarantee in place - if you are not happy with your item you can just return it for a full refund. sorry about the missing size chart for some items, we've included a chart in most listings (as a picture) and will update the older ones asap. as per the description above we've just launched the website and any feedback is appreciated :-)Take 5 permalink at the bottom of all pages leads nowhere.
While you have included a size chart for a lot of products, I'll give you that. Yet you seem to have missed out sizes on the entire range of women's products. Come on now, don't be shy. Are the cuts and seam places of the women's stuff different from that of the mens?
This really does frustrate me. You are not comparing apples with apples when you use comments like "We stock quality items at a fraction of the cost of the big brands like Skins, 2XU, Underarmour etc."
It is like saying this Nokia 3310 is 10x cheaper than this iphone. Both are phones and ring people but this one is way cheaper. Skins, Bodyscience and to a less extent 2XU have science behind their compression garments. They aren't just lycra and then sold to people as "compression". For tights yep great price, but I dont think you should be allowed to just use the word compression and drop a few other brand names in the process to make it seem like you are selling the same product.
There is a whole stack of 'Take 5' 'compression' gear on Ebay - it looks to be exactly the same as what is being sold here (but is cheaper on Ebay).
… what makes this a bargain? As per other comments above, the 'Take 5' 'compression' wear (I got some from Ebay) does not compare to 2XU, Skins 'real compression' wear. The 'Take 5' wear is very thin and is really just tight fitting nylon/spandex 'normal' garments - which is fine for base layers and the like, but don't expect too much from it.
I can certainly agree with that - my item arrived today and I have to say the "quality" is on the very low side. Was not expecting much given the price but comparing to skins, etc is pointless. They're a completely different class of garment
For anyone ordering; it makes you select a shipping payment (the cheapest one was $3.98 for me) then removes this at the last step if you use the code.
