The referral wikis are starting to get out of hand with people adding messages begging for their referral to be used. Best example:

Please consider updating rules for username and referral links ONLY. No comments.
Or consider a system where if someone goes to the page it (a) randomly shows ONE name and referral only; or (b) shows the next one in a queue of known referrals. This ensures fairness.

Randomised referral system will be ready in the next couple of days, and that would hopefully replace many pages in wiki.

Huh? The comment of TimOfBellbowrie is what made me pick his referral. I don't see any comments there that are a problem.
Do you have a problem with a specific comment, or just the concept of people trying to add more reason to get picked?
My argument would be that they're referrals, not competitions. Each entry should be treated equally.
I actually like those comments. You can pick the one that tickles your fancy.
i think ozbargain should automatically show a referral wiki link (if one exists) under the 'related store' info in deal posts and there should be no mention of using referrals in deal posts.
also the other problem i see is there is no currently no limitations on posting deals and saying "please use my referral link in the wiki". if you post a deal and your name is in the a referral wiki it should be considered a referral post with appropriate posting limits.
vinmofo referral posts are becoming a deluge.
I don't mind them being mentioned at the bottom of the deal especially if it makes the deal better. Eg. extra discount
I agree comments are pretty pointless and making a random generator would be a good idea. However, the comments still look fine to me and don't really warrant any concern yet..
