Good price for Singapore air but can get cheaper if you fly Scoot.
It's like saying: Good price for BMW but can get cheaper if you buy Hyundai.
for 7-8 hours of inflight experience compare to owning a car, you're not comparing apple with oranges.
If you want full feature os flight then this may appeal.
I don't believe that the Singapore Air flight is $200+ per person better. My flight last year on Singapore Air Brisbane to London made me realise that their economy seats are NO BETTER than any other Company. Definitely no BMW comparison there.
It's hard to judge the value of these holiday packages. So for 2 people, since it is twin share, will be $1990. Two people could fly on Scoot (eg. Gold Coast - Sing, depart 14 May) for $928 return (including baggage and meals) and then stay 3 nights for $600 at the Pen Ex Sing, returning on the 17 May. Total $1528.
