  • Does it mean only 3 x $50 myer giftcards per account of 3 x myer giftcards (of any value) per account?

    • +1

      3 x $50

    Coke or Coles rewards

  • -5

This is for Coke rewards you redeem it on the coke rewards website how much Coke will you have to drink just to get 1000 tokens this doesn't sound worth it as this is the only way to get tokens is this correct.

    • +4

Nope I do bin runs at night for my vouchers muahha.

      • What are the values of vouchers? I.e. a 600ml bottle of coke is how many points?

        • 10 tokens per bottle i do believe. That 600ml bottle is worth the 10 tokens.

      • Are those square bins (big square boxes) generally locked? Want to recycle those codes.

I see few people carrying a huge shopping bag (probably 5 cubic meter in volume) and even a bicycle to carry 3-4 of those bags full of empty bottles. But not sure where they collect those from and whether they are the cleaners because some of them dress like cleaners.

Saw on Youtube, in the US the code is put on the inside of the cap and it is common to have cap opening machine in an apartment complex or shopping mall and one can 'harvest' like 100 codes in one go. That's 1000 points.

Not quite fair that Coca-Cola gives the same 10 points for small 600 mL and big 1.5 L.

You'll have to collect 100 codes (bottles) to get the 1000 tokens (100 bottles x 10 tokens per bottle = 1000 tokens). A lot of bottles. At say about $3 per bottle (supermarket chilled coke 600ml bottles) x 100 bottles you're looking at $300 worth of bottles just to get a $50 Coles voucher. Well some body some where would of had to paid for the bottles. Not sure if it's worth it unless you got most of the bottle codes for free from some body else.

      • I collect max points every week, I don't buy, nor do I drink coke.

      • +5

Even if you do pay for the bottle, the reward is still FREE. Because you're getting the coke. The coke is what you are paying for. It's delicious. You drink it. Mission accomplished. As a nice little bonus, for every $200 you spend on Coke you get $50 back for FREE.

The only way this would not be 'worth it' is if you were buying the coke just for the label and then pouring it down the sink. In that case, I can't argue with hollykryten's economics.

      • i knew i'd find one of your inane comments in a coke rewards thread…my day is complete!

      • +1

Who the hell buys this many coke bottles solely to get the tokens for gift cards? You would have to be a gigantic idiot to do this.
These gift cards/rewards should be viewed as a bonus to your regular usage or free if you manage to get them for free from friends and … if you dont get embarrassed - dumpster diving.

        • You would have to be a gigantic idiot

no kidding. one would also have to be a gigantic idiot for posting the same moronic theories about coke rewards members ad nauseam

    • +1

      Every time!

      • -4

Just saying the truth. If you of had to pay for all those 100 bottles yourself you'd be paying far more than $50. In my opinion it's not really worth it unless you get the majority of the codes for free off some body else. If you do get the codes for free lucky you.

        • If you drink coke already then its free.

        • +1

Yeah, please repeat "the truth" in the next coke rewards deal, because nobody can figure that out for themselves. I think you'll find that nobody buys the coke just for the points, people all get the points either free or as a result of drinking coke anyway.

    • +1

You dont really need to drink coke.
Also, please use punctuation when you type, i was out of breath reading your sentence/s.

  • +4

I have no money but heaps of coke points. Looks like I can eat well once more…thank the gods!

    • -1

How? Collect from the bins? lol

      • +4

        Coke > Points > Giftcard > Food

        Cycle of life.

  • +2

sitting on 6000+ points atm, maybe i should get some giftcards

    • +1

No, maybe you should donate some to me :D

    • don't they expire?

      • +3

After 90 days of not touching your account they will expire, but us keen people are adding codes every week.

        • Yep I add max points every week, even though i don't drink soft drink anymore

  • such a good concept and easy money for those that don't/can't work

$600 for those that have the points

I work, and this has me pondering at times.

Though the "tokens expire if you don't enter a code or redeem points within 90 days" is very very mean

edit: NVM 10 codes limit uploaded per week

    • +1

IMHO it's the 10 codes limit per week which is mean ;-)

  • +1

Wish there was a bit of a points discount for getting the higher value cards.

  • +2

    Just spent 6000 points and got 1x $200 and 1x $100 cards.
Have been collecting points for around 2 years.

  • those woolies wish gift cards drained me last time so could only get a $50 card. still good! i've got 1000+ labels still waiting to be entered…

    • where do you collect all yours from?

      • I imagine just from drinking it, I have tons around as you can only enter 10 codes per week

        • I imagine just from drinking it

why the hell does everyone always assume that?
i hate coke and will only tolerate the very seldom bottle of vanilla coke.

friends, co-workers, family, bottles lying around shopping centres/food courts. i get enough so i don't have to dumpster dive…yet

  • Does anyone else get weird looks when you collect labels at a party? Anyway, does everyone just hoard points till these come along? The rest of the rewards are crap.

    • +2

Hoyts tickets were good, 95 points per ticket. Although yet to use them.

  • The JB Hi-Fi rewards are gone…

  • What are tokens im soo confused

    • One code from a Coke bottle converts to 10 tokens in the Coke Rewards site.
Rewards are quoted in numbers of tokens.

  • +1

How do you guys have so many points?! I'm sitting on 60 here and thinking how long its gonna take me to rack up points… are you guys doing anything special? Or just getting diabetes faster than me?

    • +1

      yes

    • My parents owned a restaurant, they sold it last October, but I still have enough labels to last maybe 6 months.
      Find a friend in hospitality?

  • +1

    Thanks, Got $500 total - I had 9000 points so 2 x $200's and a $50, and hubby had enough for a $50.

My hubby drinks coke zero non stop, I always have lots of tokens - maybe 30 per week.

Down to only 217 points on my account now LOL!! Very odd when I'm used to seeing 8000 or 9000.

  • -5

That's it, down those artificial flavours, coulours, sugars or cancer causing aspartame to get $50.
At least you'll all have the "reward" of diabetes before anyone else I guess….not a good deal at all when you only get 10 points per small buddy bottle :/

    • clap clap

looks like you've killed enough brain cells without the help from all those "artificial flavours, coulours, sugars or cancer causing aspartame"

for your benefit, i'll say this again in case you were too vacuous to read the previous comments: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRINK COKE TO GET THE REWARDS

      • Yes like people rummage through bins for empty bottles. Not that all shopping centers might appreciate people rummaging through their bins for bottles.

        • +2

If that's all you can think of in terms of how to get the labels for free, I suggest you make more friends or think outside the box.
