  • does anyone have a direct link to the product? Can't seem to find it on msy

  • Are there any benefits of this over the USB or PCI cards?

    • Removable antenna. Higher bandwidth.

    • I prefer USB as I can use a USB extender to position the antenna in the most optimal position.
      Each to their own.

  • Had them, somehow Im only getting 72MBPS, when i check,
i get Blue Screen when i start the other modes… went back to wired…

  • Pretty sure this is the ASUS PCE-N15 11n card. I've had it for over a year, it connects fine to WiFi. It has a completely hopeless software that comes with it, not worth installing. Just let windows find the driver over the internet (if you can do this over ethernet quickly). I tried other software solutions as well that allow my PC to share the ethernet connection over WiFi to no avail. Oh Well.

BTW from research it appears this card (RTL8192ce chip) somehow offloads all the processing to the CPU rather than doing it itself (Broadcom is apparently much better and more stable). So if that is your intended use go for that. I wouldn't be too concerned it shouldn't use anything noticeable, even on a celeron.
