Anyone can help me, I am planning for holiday to China this June, the plan is taking Air Asia and will be arrive in Pudong Airport (Shanghai) then we continue to another city, connection flight will be depart from HongQiao Airport.
The flight is arrived in the middle of the night.
Anyone have suggestion what is the cheap transfer between this airports? Thanks
Taxi will be over $40 AUD. What time is the flight landing. Cheapest will be the metro. 6.30 is the first train to hongqiao, line 2.

The metro (Line 2) would be very slow (takes 96 minutes), although it is definitely much cheaper: it only costs 8 RMB ($1.40 AUD). The main thing that would deter you from taking the metro would be that you would have to change trains at Guanglan Road station in order to go further into the city.
It also depends whether you're going to Hongqiao Terminal 1 or 2, the direct metro from Pudong only goes to Terminal 2, so you'll have to change trains again to get to Terminal 1.
Definitely the best option would be to take a taxi.

arrive 00.30, the following flight is 7.30 am from HongQiao, so weird the chinese govn doesn't build proper transport between this 2 airport
Most shuttle buses and the metro will not run past 11pm.
Best suggestion is to take a taxi, approximately 40AUD, possibly a little more due to the time you are travelling at.
