Where to look for a new TV?

As a real Ozbargainer i am refusing ti purchase a new TV before i have compares every single price. Not sure which tv i want yet, just collecting information. I would like something i can collect in VIC.

So far i have checked HD, TGG, JB, DS, Bing Lee.

Where else should i have a look?
TIA

  • I like Appliances Online but they have a limited range - depends what you want http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/all-tvs/.

They'll also take your old tv away - yay

    • Most of the stuff they offer is not really cheap, majority is cheaper at the local big chains but thanks for the link

      • No worries. I'll have to do a bit more comparison. As someone who doesn't have a car, I love the 'free delivery' and take away of old appliance :-)

  • Recommended… http://appliancecentral.com.au/shop/index.php?route=product/…

    also try http://www.bigbrownbox.com.au/

Why do you want to collect it… some online stores deliver for free.

Thanks, looking right now. Collections is not a must, was just a thought

  • ask "a mate" to do a costco run

    • Don't have anyone for that:( They don't have any online pricing?

      • loaded trolley but isn't comprehensive
Seeing you in melbourne, there is one in docklands and ringwood
Can get a visitor pass to look around but cant buy

        • Also keep in mind, lifetime warranty and change of mind as long as you keep you membership
The way i look at it 10 year costco membership is equivalent to 5 year extended warranty

  • Aldi - 55" for $799ish

Nothing sus, i'd go for it!

  • Buy from Costco. Prices are very competitive, but best of all, if it stuffs up you take it back and get your money back.

The average life span of flat panel TVs is 4.5 years. You'll be very happy in roughly 4.5 years when you return the dead TV.

  • Appliances online will price match. They did for me when I bought a new TV. So they are cheap if you look around first.
