Hi ozbargain community,
In short, I'm looking to purchase a new acoustics piano for my two kids. And recently I have come across the Kawai K300 which carries a RRP of $7,999.
As this is the first time I'm buying a piano, I'm wondering what is the "typical" amount of discount I should be expecting from the RRP? Also, any negotiation tactics will also be appreciated.
I look forward to any feedback from the ozbargain community.

Must it be new? Plenty of second hand pianos going for a song everywhere I've looked lately - many families selling them after the kids have moved out, my parents have 2 and the I laws have 1. $8k new or $500 second hand and your kids won't know the difference, but your wallet will.
