Can I then sell it on Ozbargain ?

    • I'll make sure to buy some if you do :)

  • can you use this to make halal biltong?

Is this "halal" comment some sort of reference to an event that happened a while back?

I'm asking because this isn't the first time I've seen it commented on jerky/biltong posts.

      • It seems to be some broden-esque in-joke that started ages ago. It is literally mentioned in every Beef Jerky deal that comes up on the search results.

Anyone else read Biltong Maker & 2kg Biltong $110 free postage?

    • yep, doesn't spice just come from the supermarket anyway?

  • Just to clarify is the spice enough to make 2kg of jerky/biltong or is it 2kg of spice?

    • It appears to be 2kg of spice - enough to make 40-50kg of biltong.

Your pun will never receive the praise it deserves. Kudos

  • This is pretty small. You won't be making much jerky at one time.

you can just use an oven. I haven't personally done it, but a friend of mine does it and his jerky tastes great (wow that sounds weird when written out..)
