Best place to buy USD cash in Sydney

Hi all,

I'll be travelling to the states next week and I'm trying to find the best place to buy USD cash. The cheapest I have found is pre-booking USD cash from travelex.com.au.

Any suggestions?

    They have one of the best rates in Sydney. Call first though to check their USD availability.

    Best is to open a citi plus account and withdraw cash after you arrived in the states.

      Agreed with this. I'm currently in the US and most airports you fly into before exiting will have at least 1 ATM. I had the Citi Plus and used a Bank of America ATM and it charged me USD$3 for the withdrawal. Given that I got much better FX rates than any exchange place in Australia and the only fee was $3, it was well worth it! If you can find a Citi ATM, it's free.
