Cheap for a 64GB SD card.

(Note: User bohra30 (Thanks) has pointed out there is also a class 10 version for another dollar. Link is below in his post.)

They are having a warehouse sale until the end of the month: http://www.kogan.com/au/shop/?collection=warehouse-sale

Below is the info from Kogan about the SD card:

Designed for use with point-and-shoot cameras and camcorders

The Kogan HD Video SD Memory Card is compatible with any digital camera or video recorder that supports the SDXC format. With 64GB of storage, spend more time capturing memories instead of wondering how many shots you have left.

We have developed the SD Memory Card to be high capacity and reliable, ideal for long trips overseas or important family events.

I wouldn't trust a Kogan SD card with 64GB of my photos

    • Boom, bargain sniped!

    • I personally wouldn't either, just pointing out that it's cheap for a 64GB SDXC card…

  • Anyone know what brand kogan is using ? Or are these the same as the no-brand sd cards available on ebay for a lot less.

    • I have no idea, all I can tell you is most cheap memory cards of any kind on ebay are fakes. These Kogan cards would not be fake.

      As the title states…

Your random write is faster than your random read.

          Unlike this card.

          Badum-tish!

  • No Deal: on Ebay from a AU Power Seller for $35.95 delivered for a class 10 Card: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Master-64GB-Optimum-SD-card-SDXC-…

Some devices cannot read 64gb class 10 cards, but work perfectly with class 6 . Most of the time you buy a Class 6 on ebay/amazon you receive a class 10 with the obvious hassle to return it back. So . it seems to be a good deal for the ones in need of class 6 64gb cards which are almost impossible to find..

    • You will most likely find that any device capable of supporting a 64GB SD card will not have issue with the class of the card 6 or 10…. The real issue people have is not knowing whether their camera/tablet etc supports a 64GB SD card or limited to only say 16GB.

I would rather prefer class 10 for a dollar extra.

    class 10 for $39

    • Good find, I didn't notice the class 10 version. Wow I never thought this deal would get a neg. Yes the card is class 6 on this deal. Just thought I was helping out a few. Kinda makes me not bother next time.

The vote isn't against you. People appreciate your time.

They just don't believe this is a deal. I have seen too many devices (video recording) state not to use any cards lower then a class 10 for this type of item to be appealing.

Thanks, I just don't get why someone would neg a deal because another unknown brand makes a card that is $2.05 cheaper. As bohra30 pointed out, there is a class 10 model. If you wanted a 64GB SDXC card today and were on a budget, I'd buy the Kogan over the 'Master Optimum' IMO. Thanks again.
